We are looking for the next piece in the Three Little Birds puzzle! Our thriving shop and hard-working and friendly team is recruiting for a Bakery Assistant to work with us in our bakery in the heart of Keighley.

The role is part-time, ideally split 10-5 over Tuesday, Saturday and another day in between. You will be part of our team doing basic baking preparation, washing up, and keeping the kitchen running efficiently according to our cleaning schedules. You will have the opportunity for some baking training and training to serve customers on the retail counter. You will thrive on achieving excellence and maintaining and improving standards at all times. The successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic, being ready to work hard as part of a team at all times with a cheerful and positive demeanour.

The role includes: 

- Upholding our values of Quality, Kindness, Collaboration & Integrity and embracing the Three Little Birds vision of bringing joy to those around us;

- Completing basic baking tasks such as weighing out and preparing ingredients;

- Keeping baking equipment washed up, clean and tidy;

- Completing closing tasks for the kitchen in accordance with food hygiene guidelines such as emptying the coffee machine, disinfecting surfaces, taking the bins out and hoovering & mopping the floor, in conjunction with other team members

- Organising stock

- Operating the coffee machine, till and restocking the counter
